Clean Up Florida Waters – Beach Clean Up – Florida Realtors/Miami Realtors/YPN

On July 15th, the Miami Realtors Association along with the Young Professionals Network (YPN) hosted a beach clean up and volleyball tournament at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne, Florida. Every year in July, the Florida Realtors Association promotes a month long, statewide program called “Clean Up Florida Waters” in order to help preserve and enhance our beautiful beaches. Nicole Desiderio, YPN Ambassador and broker/owner of Kleros Realty, a 100% commission real estate firm, volunteered at the event.

Miami Dade Parks employees coordinated the effort by providing gloves, buckets and trash pick up tools while the Miami Realtors Association and YPN provided snacks, drinks and volleyball equipment. Kevin Puricelli of the Young Professionals Network organized the clean up and volleyball tournament. Miami Realtors sponsor Hommati was in attendance to help document the efforts.

It is estimated that 33 billion pounds of plastic is thrown into the ocean every year with an estimated total of 75 to 199 billions TONS of plastic waste currently in our oceans. Kleros Realty asks that you do your part by properly disposing of all trash to help support our ecosystem.
